Dear colleague,

we are experiencing persistent problems with your list

http://www.w3.org/hypertext/DataSources/WWW/Geographical.html

It has grown quite long, the header says

Content-Length: 1118838
Last-Modified: Monday, 06-Mar-95 22:35:18 GMT

When we try to load this page from www.cs.tu-berlin.de, the
transmission is interrupted after nine minutes. By that time, we have
received the African, Asian and Australian sections and the rest of
the world is cut off.

CERN httpd 3.0 has code to detect a content-length mismatch.
Apparently, this code is ineffective because the truncated document is
cached and replayed in spite of it.

Please increase the timeout tolerance in your server's configuration
or split up the geographical listing into smaller chunks, and pull the
implementors' noses about the bug in the cache implementation.
