MidasWWW at CERN
If you are at or affiliated with
CERN, then the following may apply
ASIS availability
If you have asis filesystems (or
socmthing derived from them) mounted
then you will have MidasWWW if you
are on sSilicon Graphics, HP, DECstation,
or Sun4. Just type mw.
The app-defaults file has been changed
to use a CERN home page and a gateway
(for non-W3 servers) running at CERN.
You can get copies of the ASIS software
using the EPIP distribution scheme.
Installing without privilege
If you want mw but you don't have
superuser access, then you can still
copy the /usr/local/bin/mw script
and the whole /usr/local/bin/mw.app
directory. Put them wherever you
like, change the mw script line
where it points to the mw.app directory,
and run mw.
