XSLT+XPath by themselves

  • However, XSLT+XPath has proven to be useful in general:
    • A general transformation engine
    • Content adaptation (same XML data shown to different audiences)
    • Turned into an "XML-oriented" scripting tool
  • Has become one of the most widely used XML tools!
  • XSLT+XPath implementations:
    • IE6 and Mozilla have it built in
    • Stand-alone XSLT processors: Saxon, Xt, FOP, iXSLT etc.
