Voice Framework

The W3C Voice Framework consists of
- VoiceXML: a simple dialog control
- Speech Recognition Grammar Language
- Speech Synthesis Markup Language
- Semantic Interpretation for Speech Grammar
- Call Control Markup Language
First three are already mature and are deployed
The Voice Framework is geared at Voice Portals and not specifically to Mobiles, but elements can be used:
- we have seen with SRGS and SI
- voice could control various appications in a phone
