The purpose of the meeting  is  to  provide  an  international
forum  for  the  exchange  of  information  on  the technical,
economic and social impacts and experiences with communication
technology, architectures and distributes applications.

Russia is    now    vastly    increasing   its   spending   on
telecommunications and computer networks. Russia is determined
to  meet  its  computer network expansion goals and will spend
over 80 billion rubles to expand its telecommunications to 110
million phones by the year 2000 and add over 25 million PCs to
modernize key economic sectors  in  education,  transportation
and industry.

The forum  format  will  be  three  days  of  conference paper
presentations   combined    with    five    days    exhibition
"Telecommunication  systems  and  services"  and  two  days of
tutorials and workshops.  Papers are  desired  in  -  but  not
restricted to - the following topic areas:

*       Organisational structures for the provision of international
        data communication services
*       Expanding national networks to global environment
*       Management and operation of international and national
        telecommunication networks
*       GlobaL WAN architecture for the 90's
*       Transition to OSI and new standards
*       EDI, EDIFACT, electronic information market

*       Design, implementation, and experience with distributed applications

*       Workstations in telecomm environment

Language: The written and spoken language of ECT'93 is English for an
international audience. Special help with language is also available

EXHIBITOR OPTIONS
Exhibitors have two options for purchasing space at Russian ECT'93.
There are
  Option #1 - Package Space/Complete Shell Stand
Package space is available in 3m x 4m units at US$ 2.900 per unit.
Multiple units are available.
Package includes:
Full equipped exhibition stand (carpeted floor, walls on three
sides,  two chairs,  two tables or information contours,  sign
panel  in  English,  wastepaper  basket  and  ashtray,   three
electrical outlets, two flouryscent lights.

  Option #2 - Raw Exhibit Space
The minimum unit of raw exhibit space is 18 square meters at a
rental fee of US$ 150 per square meter (US$ 2.700 for  minimum
unit).  Additional  raw exhibit space is available at the same
rate.

Exhibitor service  package  is designed to meet the particular
requirements of the Russian  market  and  Moscow  environment.
This   package   offers  necessary  support  services  to  all
exhibitors as follows:

Marketing
Orgcomm will arrange meetings between exhibitors and appropriate
Russian businessmen, purchagers and end-users.

Company seminar/presentation
You could arrange also special company/product presentations in
exhibition hall. Orgcomm will provide relevant audience and all
required presentation services. Exhibitors presenting ordered
seminar/presentations will contribute US$ 450 for four hours
equipment room and interpreter.

Exhibition Catalog
Your company/product information and adds will be published in
English, German, French and Russian (languages by your choice)

Shipping Assistance
Exhibition freight service will offer a package for scheduling
of exhibitor freight to and from exhibit site, transport from/to
Sheremetievo Airport in Moscow and all necessary shipping and
disposal data.

Translation Assistance
Translation and  referral  services  for  the   speech/written
translation  of  papers,  product  literatures  and talks into
Russian will  be  available.  For  ordering  interpreters  and
explainers, please submit your enquiries.

Business and technical visits
The programme of Technical visits intended to  complement  the
general ECT'93 program by offering a reasonable sample view of
activities  on  Russian  telecomm  market.  All   visits   are
sponsored   by  Russian  companies,  research  institutes  and
telecomm enterprises.  Transportation,  refreshments and lunch
are offered by the host companies.

Travel Assistance
Travel agents will  offer  the  rich  package  of  social  and
cultural  events.  The  visas  support,  hotel accommodations,
arrival/departures  services,  personal  travel  planning  and
tours in Russia will be provided.

Security
Round the clock exhibit hall security will be provided.

Cleaning
Daily cleaning of hall and exhibits.
