For example, the advice in Appendix C to avoid multiple space characteres inside attributes – seems to have been lifted out of Appendix C directly by you. There does, however, not seemsto be not basis for that requirement. So, I suggest that just like there is a document which documetns the differences betwen HTML4 and HTML5, there should be a section of the polyglot spec which documents the history of the polyglot spect, starting with Appendix C and possible some other documents. I would like to propose a text for this, unless you object. Though, if you agree, feel free to start.
