    <thetext>Currently the conforming alternative form replaces &lt;p&gt; + &lt;br&gt; with individual &lt;p&gt; elements:

&lt;p&gt;&lt;label&gt;Name: &lt;input name=&quot;name&quot;&gt;&lt;/label&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;label&gt;Address: &lt;input name=&quot;address&quot;&gt;&lt;/label&gt;&lt;/p&gt;

For me this seems a non-conforming use of &lt;p&gt; :-) Its generally considered best practice is to use a list for forms, so I suggest changing to:

&lt;li&gt;&lt;label&gt;Name: &lt;input name=&quot;name&quot;&gt;&lt;/label&gt;&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;&lt;label&gt;Address: &lt;input name=&quot;address&quot;&gt;&lt;/label&gt;&lt;/li&gt;

You could wrap this in &lt;ol&gt;, but &lt;p&gt; in non-conforming to &lt;li&gt; in conforming is a good enough hint that another element may be more suitable.</thetext>

Rationale: Why would this be inappropriate for &lt;p&gt;? HTML5 specifically says it&apos;s fine. Using a list seems far less appropriate.</thetext>
