<thetext>5.2 Conformance Criteria for xmlns:-Prefixed Attributes appears to state that any attribute whose name starts with "xmlns:" is conforming, this apparently would include even attributes that are not conforming per Namespaces in XML, such as ones with non-XML characters in the name, or with multiple colons. I assume this is not intended.</thetext>

Status: Fixed

Change Description:

Added the following text:

http://dev.w3.org/cvsweb/html5/rdfa/drafts/ED-rdfa-in-html-20100504/Overview.html.diff?r1=1.6&r2=1.7&f=h

"""
All attributes starting with a case insensitive prefix matching "xmlns:" must conform to the production rules outlined in Namespaces in XML [XML-NAMES11], Section 3: Declaring Namespaces. Documents that contain xmlns: attributes that do not conform to Namespaces in XML must not be accepted as conforming.
"""

Rationale:

All xmlns: values must follow Namespaces in XML to be considered conforming.</thetext>
