We need to see what the correct CSS behaviour should be, and/or align with one or other spec. It is probably most useful for the resulting shape to be able to create intrusions, especially if we use layers and z-axis to manage conflicts, so you can choose whether or not to have an intrusion. The current Working Draft does not have intrusions, though.
