    <thetext>My preference is for an attribute, as this is backwards compatible with agents looking for &quot;up&quot; while still allowing more capable software to know &quot;how far up&quot;. If you only have one level you can only advertise one level, but if you extend this to an arbitrary number of levels then you can advertise the whole hierarchy which is useful for features like breadcrumbs.</thetext>
