    <thetext>If i replace &amp; with %26 the problem persists, i can validate with XHTML 1.0 Strict, but the validation link for CSS3 ceases to function.
This is a serius problem for me.</thetext>

    <thetext>If you embed this link in HTML by hand, you must indeed escape the &amp;. Using &amp;amp; does not break the link and it is HTML-valid.</thetext>
