    <thetext>How do you deal with out of scope namespaces? In Table 10 we see the updated resource representation has stripped out all namespaces. The spec needs to better describe how namespaces are used in updates.  In general, you can get in trouble if you omit namespaces in updates.</thetext>

    <thetext>This seems to apply to both RT and T, may occur more frequently in RT, but both need resolution.
It MAY be possible to find a repair in T that could be leveraged by RT.
The issue related to xpath needs to be investigated and may need a new related issue resolution.
