<thetext>Monica Martin writes:

The original section in which this was held no longer applies but the
original question does [1].
Notation (word) is used for Choreography, Activity and WorkUnit. There
does not appear to be any visible reason why xxxxNotation is used (Each
is a complex type; although there are several other ones besides these
three). In addition, notations are generally referenced for Section 2.1
where the choreography model is overviewed (includes these three and
many others).

If some type of priority, hierarchy or compositional aspect was to be
inferred for the use of Notation (for Choreography, Activity and
WorkUnit), I would suggest you express that as descriptions in the
technical specification. This would alleviate any confusion between the
general choreography model overview, the notational conventions (section
1.1) and the complexTypes defined in the WS-CDL schema.

The rest of the specification draft seems to flow in its use of syntax,
constructs, and elements or attributes. Perhaps Nick could provide
further detail why 'Notation' was used.
