    <thetext>According to the regex grammar for 1.0, the characters &quot;{&quot; and &quot;}&quot; are valid instances of Char. This means that the parse for a{2} is ambiguous, and there is a parse for a{,2} despite the fact that we have a Note saying it is invalid.
