Olivier many apologies for the typo I tried so many log combinations. The issue appears to be that the process is failing before it attempts to open the file whether the file exists or not. I have tried the following location examples and some more besides. Can't use string ("\var\log\apache\access.log combi") as an ARRAY ref while "strict refs" in use at C:/Perl/site/lib/W3C/LogValidator/Config.pm line 167. Can't use string ("/var/log/apache/access.log combi") as an ARRAY ref while "strict refs" in use at C:/Perl/site/lib/W3C/LogValidator/Config.pm line 167. Can't use string ("'c:\weblogs\access.log' combined") as an ARRAY ref while "strict refs" in use at C:/Perl/site/lib/W3C/LogValidator/Config.pm line 167.
