Maybe this is intended; if not, I suggest to enhance clarity by adding a few words: - perhaps ", according to the definition of equality given in 3.5.2 General Comparisons." - or something like ", or is a sequence of values one of which is equal to the string Introduction." It contains several examples of the = operator, as well as other operators. While it's possible to add text along these lines, doing this increases the complexity of the text considerably while adding little in clarity. I agree that some people may not know the meaning of the = operator, but that is defined in a different section. Jonathan
