    <thetext>There are places in the spec that indicates &quot;sml:acyclic&quot; are specified on element declaration, but there are other places suggesting complex type definitions. Which one is correct?

I think it should only be complex type definitions. Note that all examples have sml:acyclic on complex types.</thetext>
