<thetext>Many of the validateexpr-* tests contains, apart from the validate expression, also a 'schema import' declaration. As I see it, an implementation that isn't schema aware can therefore fail the tests in two ways; either by reporting XQST0009 on the 'schema import' or XQST0075 on the validate expression. Currently, the tests doesn't provide XQST0009 in their baselines.

Proposed solution: add XQST0009 as alternative baseline to all validateexpr-* tests that has a 'schema import' declaration in the query.

    <thetext>Frans:

Thanks for pointing this out. I corrected the tests by adding
"<expected-error>XQST0009</expected-error>". Please close the bug if in agreement.

Thanks,
Carmelo</thetext>
