    <thetext>Test matches-50 is a conversion of a regular expression test suite originally designed for Perl. It contains many individual tests.

Within this, tests p888, 889, 890, 891 use the construct &quot;[\d-X]&quot; (with different values of X). In XSD 1.0 this is an error. In XSD 1.1 it is allowed (the construct is not treated as a range, instead the &quot;-&quot; is treated as matching a hyphen).</thetext>

    <thetext>I&apos;ve implemented the least-effort solution which is to add a dependency on XSD 1.0 for the entire test.</thetext>
