    <thetext>Using Chrome OS, bogus updates were sent/installed. Their site was updated or so they said. What can I do on my chrome to to update it/program it. What am I missing?</thetext>

If you have access to the Web server environment of https://sso.ameriprise.com or know somebody else who does, you/they can configure that server to send an Access-Control-Allow-Origin header.

But if you don&apos;t have access that Web server environment or don&apos;t know somebody who does, then you can&apos;t get around that error.</thetext>
