    <thetext>The x/y/height/width properties of ElementRect are defined as doubles [1].  Since pixels are defined in the CSS 3 Values specification as of the type NUMBER [2] we should make sure to use a JSON compatible data type, number [3].

Possibly this bug is a covered by bug 26275.

    <thetext>Actually switching to JSON won&apos;t be fully compatible with CSS Values spec as it says the following about Number type:
&gt; As with integers, the first character of a number may be immediately preceded by ‘-’ or ‘+’ to indicate the number&apos;s sign.

RFC4627 doesn&apos;t seem to allow for a number to start from &quot;+&quot;</thetext>
