    <thetext>Item 5 of Appendix F refers to section 2.9 Error Handling for the handling of
serialization errors.
This in turn refers to section 20 Serialization, which in turn refers back to
section 2.9 Error Handling.

As a result, I have no idea what is required for the documentation of this
particular implementation-defined behaviour.</thetext>
