With a [value] property, we can also suggest to Query that they augment the famously vague Data Model stipulation that: "In the general case, dm:typed-value constructs a sequence of atomic values. These values are derived from the string-value of the element and its type, in such a way as to be consistent with validation." There was not consensus that the proposed {value} property should be added, but there was a consensus that further discussion in the absence of a concrete proposal was unlikely to benefit the Working Group. Accordingly, the Working Group asked the editors to draft wording for the proposed addition, so that the Working Group could examine a concrete proposal and make its decision informed by that examination. 12364 3 cmsmcq 2006-10-09 21:09:59 +0000 On 6 October 2006, the Working Group approved a proposal to add a [schema actual value] property to attributes and elements. The approved wording now appears in the status quo version of the spec and will be included in the next public working draft. Accordingly, I'm marking this RESOLVED / FIXED.
