If we want to support this, we should document it (I don't have a strong opinion either way, but do slightly lean towards having the remote end return HTTP status 200 with a Json payload for every request). Since the wire protocol uses GET and DELETE requests for some operations, it is not possible for every request to contain a Json payload.
