It is considered for the Media Source Extension specification to also rely on srcObject instead of URL.createObjectURL [2] since many people in the WebApps WG think the use of URL.createObjectURL should be avoided [2]. So, it would be preferable if the definition of this srcObject attribute was in the HTML5 spec in particular to care for 'the resource load algorithm'.
