<thetext>In the spec, every occurrence of the word "salvageable" (including the defining
occurrence) is wrapped in a <var> element, which doesn't make sense to me: it
isn't a variable, it's a property of a Document (like 'fired unload' or 'page
showing', which don't have the <var>-wrapper.)

Remove the <var>-wrapper?

------

Also, there are 2 occurrences of:
If salvageable state of the active document ...

After "If", insert "the".

------

Finally, in 6.6.11 "Unloading documents",
in the algorithm for 'unload a document',
step 15 says:
If salvageable and recycle are both false, then ...
referring to 'salvageable' as if it's a defined variable, which it isn't.

Change "salvageable" to "the Document object's salvageable state" ?</thetext>
