<thetext>where more than one camera is available,
the author may wish to provide options.

currently there is no method to limit options.

for example on http://www.gnote.org two cameras can be connected and both videos displayed on the homepage,
however,
the visitor with only one camera connected,
still gets two requests....

wfm recent Chrome.</thetext>

<thetext>#1 Harald it is not appropriate to close bugs because you wish them to be discussed on the list.

This bug is not invalid, there is a problem with the spec as it stands, and has been implemented.

You may wish to discuss it on a list,
please feel free to take it there, and reference this bug
bugs filed are reported on the list in any case.

frankly as a volunteer, not an employee, I frequently do not have the time,
for bugs, I prefer the bug reporter, and have used it for well over a decade....
one usually gets a definitive decision at some point.

<thetext>Seems like this belongs to Media Capture territory, not WebRTC. Besides, if I understand correctly the requested functionality is part of later revisions of "Media Capture and Streams".</thetext>
