<thetext>In many cases a table or grid needs to be created which does not fit comfortably on a page, it would therefore be useful if a scrolling option was available to enable users to scroll within a table whilst leaving any headers, if defined, in situ. I envisage this working much like an embeded structure within the

e.g.

in order to do this well we would need to define the 'display' size, including or excluding header columns/rows so the addtional options headers and frame are added</thetext>

Status: Rejected
Change Description: No spec change.
Rationale: Scrolling while keeping headers visible is a presentation
issue that should be taken up with the CSS WG. Note that they are
working on a new 'display' value, 'sticky', which would provide such a
feature.</thetext>
