View date of asked question or comment

Actual:

Oct 10

This is ambiguous. For the rest of the world outside of the US, Oct 10 will look more like October 20*10*, rather than 10th October. It confused me at first, as the site is not old enough to have a comment from 2010.

It could be fixed by either:

* localising dates
* Adding the year as well
* Adding th/st/nd to the number to make it clear its not the year in two digit format.</thetext>

    <thetext>I don't see a simple way to do this in the settings for the Q&A system. It looks to be tied to the localization settings (which are set to USA of course) which means we would need to edit that file then make sure on any updates that the changes are carried over. Perhaps it could be something we add to an update checklist though. That way dates are shown in a good manner for any local.</thetext>

    <thetext>The current Q&A system will be going down soon. A discussion will go on later as to whether it should come back or not. At that time we will look at constant/configurable dates.</thetext>
