This makes it completely pointless except to fill in some extra space on the homepage. Perhaps this could be changed to something else. I am thinking since a Q&A question came up about how to support WPD either at a conference or as an individual. That way people who want to help talk about WPD and/or get others involved in helping can have somewhere to get a food good ideas. I think that could be a good fit for a link on the homepage in place of the currently (seemingly) useless one.
