<thetext>From e-mail feedback:

a) «You can make meaningful contributions whether you have five minutes, half an hour, or half a day.» is not mentioned in the diagram
  b) Some pages in the diagram do no exists or I did not find them except Style Guide which is actually Manual Of Style
  c) the Pages from the diagram are not clickable, it might be nice to do a recap below it
  d) Is Tasks to be merged with the «five minutes, half an hour, or half a day» contribution paragraphs ?

Could we make this diagram with SVG, and make the different things clickable, then provide a static PNG for a fallback?</thetext>

<thetext>More comments on the Getting Started:
e) Consider adding a decision point on whether you REALLY want to create new content (based on the readiness of the content perhaps; also suggest searching for existing information)
f) Style Guide is included for updating existing content, but not in creating new content (this might be solved if the boxes for the different content types in the flow chart link directly to creating a new page based on the associated template, as I believe was suggested in the first round of email feedback).
g) Even though Reference is in the flowchart, there is no "Reference" type listed on the New_Page. Perhaps link to http://docs.webplatform.org/wiki/WPD:Content/Reference_articles and add instructions to http://docs.webplatform.org/wiki/WPD:New_Page on what page types are considered Reference types.
h) Consider reorganizing the content below the flowchart to reflect the order shown in the flowchart (Tasks, Creating New Content, and Update Existing Content)
i) Consider changing the "References" section to "Resources" (not sure if you have standard terminology for this), so it's not confused with the Reference content type.</thetext>

<thetext>Well, what we are doing is creating and "Editor's Guide" which will be the central resource for all editing information. In fact removing much of it (if not all) from the Getting Started Guide. What we should do is structure that better to reflect the flowchart and use it to expand upon what the flowchart says.

I will brainstorm what I think a good structure for the Editor's Guide would be using the flowchart as a guide and open a new bug report for input.

As far as a style guide update for creating new content I'm not too sure of what that would include. We are trying to use forms for most types of content, beyond that if someone wants to contribute new information it can be anything they want. From a one paragraph stub to get started to a full-on well thought out tutorial. I think having a style guide for making new content could discourage the one paragraph stubs that could end up creating a great section of content. I could be misunderstanding though, so please let me know if I am.</thetext>
