I assume it should be the same as new Date(NaN) or possibly null, but &lt;http://www.whatwg.org/specs/web-apps/current-work/multipage/infrastructure.html#create-a-date-object&gt; doesn&apos;t actually define what happens when &quot;a particular time&quot; is NaN.
