<thetext>In 4.7.3.1 computed element constructors dynamic evaluation, the specification
describes the semantics of namespace construction. However, the specification doesn't
seem to define how the new XQuery copy namespace (as defined in seciton 5.9) mode
is determined and used here. Is this a bug or expected ?</thetext>

<thetext>This is a bug. I believe we intended to describe how namespaces are copied. This
is missing right now. We could do one of two things:

(1) add a note saying we will not formally specify this
(2) add a section to cover this, which requires a bit more work

<thetext>This is the official response of the XML Query WG and the XSL WG.

We have agreed to accept the first alternative solution (add a note saying that
this will not be formally specified). However, if the commenter wishes to
propose specific text and rules, we would be willing to consider that contribution.

Please let us know if you agree with this resolution of your issue, by adding a
comment to the issue record and changing the Status of the issue to Closed. Or,
if you do not agree with this resolution, please add a comment explaining why.
If you wish to appeal the WG's decision to the Director, then also change the
Status of the record to Reopened. If you wish to record your dissent, but do not
wish to appeal the decision to the Director, then change the Status of the
record to Closed. If we do not hear from you in the next two weeks, we will
assume you agree with the WG decision.</thetext>
