I believe that AtomizeAtomic is the "name" of the normalization, and SequenceType is the "parameter" of the normalization. For example, AtomizeAtomic(item()*) is one instance of the normalization, AtomizeAtomic(xs:integer?) is another, etc. If this is correct, then SequenceType should be italicized. This would also explain where the italicized SequenceType comes from in the definition of AtomizeAtomic ("fn:data(Expr) if SequenceType <: ...").
