    <thetext>I don&apos;t see why this doesn&apos;t work. Could you give a concrete example of HTML+JS that you think the specs don&apos;t support but should?

    <thetext>Ah, I didn&apos;t realize that the typed array spec sorta defines this (not quite, but at least the spirit is there).  Maybe there&apos;s no issue other than bug 13800, then.</thetext>
