Fix: I think an explicit definition of "start edge", "end edge", "top of the exclusion", and "bottom of the exclusion" might be helpful for completeness. They become clear from the examples, but it might be nice to spell it out. Also, mixing "start" and "end" with "top" and "bottom" in the section might be a little strange? I think of "start, end, before, after" as the logical dimensions, dependent on writing-mode, and "left right top bottom" as the physical dimensions, independent of writing-mode.
