    <thetext>The spec states:

&gt; For constants, ... the final identifier token before the semicolon at
&gt; the end of the declaration determines the identifier.

I guess this is technically correct, because the value wouldn&apos;t be an identifier, but this could say more clearly that the identifier is before the &apos;=&apos;.</thetext>
