In 1.2 I see example:

Here, there is an item with a property whose value is a product ID. The ID is
not human-friendly, so the product&apos;s name is used the human-visible text
instead of the ID.

But instead of attribute named &quot;value&quot; I propose use attribute named
&quot;itemvalue&quot;. So there will be difference between common attribute named
&quot;value&quot; that is for HTML and attribute named &quot;itemvalue&quot; that is for microdata
only. In my opinion correct example must be:
&lt;h1 itemscope&gt;
 &lt;data itemprop=&quot;product-id&quot; itemvalue=&quot;9678AOU879&quot;&gt;The Instigator 2000&lt;/data&gt;
