    <thetext>I assume this is referring to the note that reads &quot;There are a variety of alternatives to using HTML tables for layout, primarily using CSS positioning and the CSS table model&quot;.

It&apos;s probably reasonable to point authors to more information there. Not sure where would be helpful though. Anyone got any ideas?</thetext>
