b) Independently from that: the URI scheme registration doesn&apos;t allow reserving a prefix right now. If you really really think this is a good idea, you should engage with the IETF URI/IRI community (which happens to have a open WG that currently revises the registration document). In the absence of a change in the registry, I&apos;d expect this to be labelled &quot;willful violation of RFC 4395&quot;.</thetext>
