Why don&apos;t you fix a third optional parameter to set the &quot;duration&quot; of the
key/value pair. 
If it is not set the key/value pair will not expire otherwise it will expire

    <thetext>Yeah, this is a thing for a future version. IIRC there&apos;s a note in the spec source talking about this kind of thing already, actually.</thetext>
