<thetext>Examples (sec. E), the attribute "currency" at the type "price" in the xml schema

Defining a default currency in the schema is bad design practice. Without the
schema, the data is basically useless. Please choose something different for an
example of default attribute handling.

<thetext>Oh for goodness sake. The schema includes the comment

<!-- This example is for data model illustration only.
It does not demonstrate good schema design. -->

and it's clearly a toy. Whilst I agree with the spirit of the comment,
getting the example right is tricky and requires meticulous attention
to detail. I'm not inclined to change it for this reason.</thetext>

    <thetext>Dear i18n-core-wg,

Per the 7 June 2005 telcon, the QT groups have elected to reject this comment.

The schema includes the comment

<!-- This example is for data model illustration only.
It does not demonstrate good schema design. -->

and it's clearly a toy. Whilst I agree with the spirit of the comment,
getting the example right is tricky and requires meticulous attention
to detail. We're not inclined to change it for this reason.

Please let us know if you find this resolution unsatisfactory.
