<thetext>S3c. 6.1.5 (infoset mapping)

You write at the end of the section that the [character encoding scheme]
property has no value. You should add s.t. like "Its value is determined during
the serialization of the data model." and a link to the section which defines
the encoding parameter of the serialization, e.g. in sec. 3.

Based on Martin's review, comment [21]

<thetext>I think we should reject this comment. The [character encoding scheme] in the
generated infoset has no value (it can't have a value because we didn't start
with an encoded sequence of octets.

The serialized data model *is* a sequence of octets and therefore has no
[character encoding scheme] property at all.

    <thetext>Dear i18n-core-wg:

Per the 7 June 2005 telcon, the QT groups have elected to reject this comment.
The [character encoding scheme] in the generated infoset has no value (it can't
have a value because we didn't start with an encoded sequence of octets.

The serialized data model *is* a sequence of octets and therefore has no
[character encoding scheme] property at all.

Please let us know if you find this resolution unsatisfactory.
