That doesn't give any information about what datatype the muted content attribute is. For other other boolean content attributes, the spec explicitly states that they are boolean; for example: http://dev.w3.org/html5/spec/video.html#attr-media-loop "The loop attribute is a boolean attribute that, if specified, indicates that the media element is to seek back to the start of the media resource upon reaching the end."
