Therefore one of the following descriptions would be more correct: "It is an error if the output method is xml [or xhtml], the value of the undeclare-prefixes parameter is yes, and the value of the version parameter is 1.0." or "It is an error if the output method is [of type] xml, the value of the undeclare-prefixes parameter is yes, and the value of the version parameter is 1.0."
