    <thetext>There is nothing in the spec preventing folders to be treated as files. So you should be able to drag a folder just as much as a file. If not, file a bug on the implementation where you&apos;re seeing this behavior.</thetext>

    <thetext>It&apos;s not clear to me exactly what should change in the spec here, if anything. I&apos;m not sure it makes sense to drag a folder unless the &lt;input&gt; widget is a multiple=&quot;&quot; widget; in the latter case, though, there doesn&apos;t seem to be a problem, it should just work as Jonas says.</thetext>
