<thetext>put the link to the link to the W3C version of the canvas 2d context spec back into the canvas section of the spec. Pointing to the what wg wiki which then points to your kitchen sink spec is not useful or appropriate</thetext>

Status: Rejected
Change Description: no spec change
Rationale: The link to the WHATWG wiki is only temporary until we find a better solution for registering these relations. In the meantime, the WG decided to drop the 2D Canvas section from the HTMLWG spec, and I've no interest in revisiting that subject.</thetext>

> In the meantime, the WG decided to
> drop the 2D Canvas section from the HTMLWG spec

I can find no record of a WG decision being made on that subject. You decided to split out that section in response to a bug report, and no objections have been made to publishing this as a FPWD and subsequently as a heartbeat.</thetext>

<thetext>The bug-triage sub-team added the a11yTF and a11y_canvas keywords as there are a couple of bugs where a link doesn't refer to the W3C version that stirred some discussion. Some people believe it's inacceptable to link to WHATWG instead of W3C documents, others are OK with it. We need a consistent solution and high-level decision how to handle those issues in general.</thetext>
