<thetext><http://dev.w3.org/html5/spec/Overview.html#acknowledgements>:

"Thanks to the participants of the microdata usability study for allowing us to use their mistakes as a guide for designing the microdata feature."

As the HTML5 spec does not define Microdata, putting acks for the study in here is a bit strange.</thetext>

Status: Rejected
Change Description: no spec change
Rationale: The TR/microdata document points to the HTML spec for acknowledgements. Given how the specs are managed, I would like to keep things that way. Otherwise, the acknowledgements will be inaccurate, since I don't know who has only contributed to one or another of the specs.</thetext>

<thetext>In this case, this seems to be easy to resolve. Keep the reference, but move that paragraph over to the other document.</thetext>
