Given that WebSRT has not been adopted into the W3C specification at this time, I find it curious that the editor quotes W3C Resolution Policy. I will presume that this is an oversight on the editor&apos;s part, rather than a specific recommendation.

*Should* WebSRT be adopted in the W3C version of HTML5, this issue *may* (and likely will) resurface.</thetext>
