Given bit rot of invisible data, it would also be nice to include a “best practice” note (either with the last example in 5.1.2 The basic syntax, or in a new segment of this covering &lt;meta&gt;) to recommend annotating page content if the data is already present.</thetext>

Rationale: It&apos;s intentionally not mentioned, because of the hidden metadata problem. Apparently (according to psychology research) telling people not to do something (or rather, telling people a negative) often results in people remembering the opposite, so I&apos;d rather not discourage it explicitly.</thetext>
